CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA– Global Tribe DeFi (Global Tribe) and Foothills Ojibway First Nation announce a groundbreaking band council resolution that marks a significant step towards the creation of an inclusive global financial infrastructure for indigenous peoples and communities worldwide. This new partnership not only cements their shared vision but also marks the launch of the Global Tribe Token (AHO), the first digital currency authorised through Foothills Ojibiway, which will contribute to the economic development of Foothills Ojibway First Nation directly and indirectly.

This resolution is the culmination of months of collaboration and hard work between the two and sets the stage for an evolution in regenerative and participatory finance.

With this resolution in place we are demonstrating our resolve to improve the conditions of poverty, unemployment, and underdevelopment in indigenous communities worldwide. It is an honour to be entrusted as the technology service provider and advisor to Foothills Ojibway. Global Tribe is ready, willing, and able to provide the technological and human capital means to empower indigenous communities worldwide, and we look forward to making this vision a reality.”Through its five strategic thrusts, including promoting digital transformation and economy, transforming indigenous communities into inclusive digital societies, creating a trustworthy, safe, and ethical environment, and training digital talents, Global Tribe is dedicated to supporting the socio-economic development of tribal communities worldwide.Chief Jim Ochise, leader of the Foothills Ojibiway First Nation, in completing the resolution shared a teaching for this historic moment:
“The Creator’s plan is already written down. The puzzle is already there. We put the puzzle together from different parts of this world. It Has existed since time immemorial. It existed in the constellations. Nobody can change the stars. It has always been as it is. Everything that we needed– the technology, the energy, the people– they are there. Whether it be electricity from the water, the energy from the thunderbird (lighting and thunder), energy from trees, from the rocks…. it has all those natural connections that were already provided for us.
It is up to us to put that puzzle together. Creator God gave us everything that we need. It is up to us to figure out that puzzle. The connection, the puzzle, it is all there. It is up to us to recognize it. That’s why back in the 1600s, even the 1400s, we already knew on this side of Turtle Island that our visitors, our brothers and sisters, were going to come one day.
We must be kind to them.
We must take care of them.
We must help them as they come to this island.
The creator's natural instructions are to work together, because we are already connected. The Spirit has its own science.
We are here, altogether. Everybody has some expertise in that puzzle, and we are all here today. I like the way you people have this experience in different parts of the puzzle. It is coming together how it is supposed to be. It doesn’t matter whether we are indigenous or non-indigenous. We are all a part of this world the way it was meant to be.
That is why here in Canada, some people still practise that natural order respecting that spirit. That is why whenever I do something or take something I need to respect the spirit. The spirit is going to guide me. If we don’t have the spirit there is something missing. The spirit is directions, the guidance. It is to prevent. It is to protect. The spirit is to lead us to success on this mission.
We need to protect the environment. We need to prevent disasters from happening. Into success, we need that spirit. We cannot succeed without the spirit. We are part of the web of energy.
How did the steam engine begin to run with the spark? How was the first steam engine begun? That is the beginning of the puzzle. That is the wealth. How did the spark of the fire and the water come to be put together? It is put together like a puzzle, piece by piece, and is something that is making money for somebody. The planes, the air… it has to fly. It comes from nature.
Like the eagle… The eagle is a spirit– it can fly. The arrows fly. They weren’t meant to be harming anybody. They are for survival like hunting. That is what they are for. In natural science with the spirit, you can use the flint rock, put it in a spearhead. It doesn’t matter how big it is, it will fly and pick up speed.
It began this way, but somewhere it changed. We need to go back to that.
Today, the way we make a better world, it seems like we need to harm the environment including the people. But, that was never the intent of the puzzle. The intent is a good intention; to look after eachother, our families, and to look after the world and take care of it. That is what Creator God gave us. We have to do it ourselves. We have to look for it, we have to put it together, we have to see it and use it. The need was disconnected somewhere in the past. We need to go back to the past.
Do we need the sun? Yes
Do we need the water? Yes
Do we need the land? Yes
Do we need people? Yes.
You are already on your way putting everything together. The spirit is technology… of the mind of the puzzle– the connection. We cannot be here without the spirit, without the connection, without the creation of the world. That is the natural order.
I like the way you put that puzzle together. It is something that was lost.
It is good that we come together like this. There are things that are happening to us in different parts of the world. We need to correct things to the way they should be. It has been unbalanced for hundreds of years for the next generation.
I like the way you are putting it together. Into success, we need that spirit. We cannot succeed without the spirit.”
